  One-third of Summer Left
It's hard to imagine, but summer is is waning. Hard to imagine with temps in the 90s, but as the meteorologists point out, a lot of factors come together to make it warmer, even as the days grow shorter.

As for my goal of being outside everyday this summer, while I haven't reported in much, it's because I've been outside more! I even took to reading one of the three morning papers on the front porch, enjoying the quiet before the house and neighborhood wakes up.

32 days left until Labor Day. I plan to use them well.

Comments:
Well most of my outside adventures have been at work and boy has it been hot, especially in the corn fields. Well hopefully it won't get too cold anytime soon and we do get a fall. I look forward to the brown, red, and orange leaves. It's my favorite time of the year.
