One-third of Summer Left It's hard to imagine, but summer is is waning. Hard to imagine with temps in the 90s, but as the meteorologists point out, a lot of factors come together to make it warmer, even as the days grow shorter.

As for my goal of being outside everyday this summer, while I haven't reported in much, it's because I've been outside more! I even took to reading one of the three morning papers on the front porch, enjoying the quiet before the house and neighborhood wakes up.
