  Desert Island MP3s
In his Information Week blog, Alexander Wolfe has updated the BBC "Desert Island Discs" format to the digital era. In it he lists the 10 Albums he would want on his MP3 player, were he stranded on a desert island. (You know the one with electricity, but that is unknown by map makers...)

Inspired by this list, here is my list of top 10 albums I would want on my never-will-lose-battery-power MP3 player:
  1. Beatles: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, 1967
  2. Bernstein/NY Philharmonic: Great Performances, 1990
  3. Dave Brubeck: Time Out, 1959
  4. Bruce Cockburn: In the Falling Dark, 1976
  5. Bob Dylan: Highway 61 Revisited, 1965
  6. Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Rock My Soul, 1980
  7. Prince: 1999, 1982
  8. U2: Rattle and Hum, 1988
  9. Williams/London Symphony: Star Wars Soundtrack, 1977
  10. Willie Nelson: Stardust, 1978
What are your Top 10 Albums for a Desert Island? And remember, greatest hits aren't allowed!
